Blast from the Past!

With winter dragging on like a bad comedian, I finally stopped procrastinating and backed up all my pictures it a 1T external hard drive (along with the other 2 hard drives that I use). I was copying pictures and going through some old ones that I thought that I would post! I have really been in a funk about taking pictures and I always find it hard to battle through this time of the year! Here are a few pics from about 2 years ago...man time flies when you are having fun!

I had a really hard time finding any decent ones of Anesa as I really didn't know how to use my prime lens therefore tons of my pictures were out of focus and blurry! Another thing was that Anesa had a dirty face from about 20 months on (and being the laid back person I am I really didn't make an effort to clean it very often) so it is hard to find a picture of her without food all over her face! Stay tuned because I will be going through pics and trying to find some of her that aren't blurry! I can't believe how much she has changed in 2 years...she has grown so tall and her face isn't as chubby as it use to be! Can't believe my girls are 2 1/2 and 4 1/2...crazy!

Here is my little bugagoo at about 7 or 8 months old I am guessing! I thought that I would fool around with a couple of edits on this one as I really like it...it's Ro!

Or shall we say letters in Anesa's case! She has been so pumped about writing and forming her letters! Today she sat down to do her homework and I snapped a few pics!



Here is the same picture with a different edit! I really like it but don't get the same feel as the first one because you can't actually see the letter that she is writing!

Hittin' the Slopes!

This weekend we took both the girls skiing and tubing! It was a blast and they nboth did great! I took some video with a p + s...so stayed tuned for some pictures and video from that! I was not brave enough to bring my camera with me while skiing with the girls but I was able to snap a few while we were tubing! The weather was just right for me to be outside ... +3...LOL!

This sums up Fridays in our house! We have a house cleaner that kicks butt and we are so beat that we can hardly put one step in front of the other!

Anesa has had a busy winter trying out new things! Her dad has taken her skating and skiing! Our fall and winter has been very busy with volleyball and Ryan traveling to Moose Jaw but he made time to keep the promises he made to Anesa! She is such a trooper and loved every minute of it! I am thinking that she must get this from her dad as I would not have lasted an hour on the hill b/c it was too cold! As with my many other hobbies, I am a fair weather skiier much like I am a fair weather runner, golfer, photographer, and the list goes on and on! Thanks so much to a great dad who always has time for his kids!
