33 BABY!
The girls and Ryan got me an ipod for my birthday to help me train for my triathlon that I am in at the end of June! Wonder if it will help me with only a week left!!!
Anesa wrote on the card all by herself...can't believe how grown up she is all of a sudden!
They wrapped it together and Anesa wrote on the present again...man Ryan and his newspaper wrap job?!?!

Around here...
AROUND HERE we are missing taking Rein out for walks. Never thought that I would say that EVER! But since her accident I do like to reminisce about walking Rein while trying to push a stroller! There was never a dull moment and I never really enjoyed the walk. I am pretty sure we provided entertainment to anyone who happened to glance our way! She seems to be getting better every day! I hope that we will someday soon enjoy walks together again...something tells me the walks will be shorter and with less chance of "craziness"!
AROUND HERE the girls are loving playing with their princess mini characters! Ro has her pockets stuffed with them and Anesa loves Belle's horse!
AROUND HERE we cannot wait for the pool to open!
AROUND HERE using the bathroom inside is really overrated! Obviously need to have the talk about going away from high traffic areas(like don't go right in front of the steps!!), making sure there is nothing around (notice shoes and baby...eeks that would not be good!) and working on perfecting the squat!
AROUND HERE I am cracking up every time Rowyn comes up with one of her crazy sayings. Right now she is into running into the house and telling me that "The bugs are bad mom...I need bug scream" or "The sun is out...I need some sun scream"
AROUND HERE the training wheels are a thing of the past! And of course like the good mother I am I got the big event on video...not! Really didn't have much of a chance because one night she decided she wanted them off and that was that! This really surprised me as Anesa can be sensitive and really isn't into taking risks, so I really thought that we would be in that whole routine of trying once every week without training wheels and then she would insist that she has to have them after she takes a spill...little did I know! I love you Anesa Shae...you are one surprise after another!
PS~ Notice the laces...gone too is the idea of Velcro shoes...here is to hoping she learns to tie her shoes like she learned to ride a bike...lol!
AROUND HERE we are enjoying our fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast.
AROUND HERE a gal's outfit not only represents her sense of style but also her sense of self! I love seeing what my kids pull out of their closet for the day! Hope they don't lose their sense of originality! I always liked the saying...Never be afraid to be yourself, an original is worth more than a copy!
AROUND HERE we finally got our garden in! The girls had so much fun planting the garden! Anesa loved to help with the potatoes and got down and dirty! Rowyn spent most of her time trying to get her gloves on and dropping green bean seeds everywhere! Can't wait to watch and nuture the garden through the summer and dig in after harvest!

Bubbles!
With summer still a couple weeks away we soooo ready for holidays. We are staying up later, wanting to sleep in more, spending a lot tons time outside, getting together with friends that we haven't seen since school started and just in general being lazy!
12 Weeks of Summer Challenge ~ Capturing you children enjoying the days of summer!
Since the sun has only graced us with her presence a few short days this spring/summer I have had to take so many of my shots with poor light! This makes me grumpy at times because through the 7 months of the year the I like to call "depressing, cold, dark and miserable" (winter) all I can think about is getting out in the light and taking pics (not that I am great at knowing how to use the light but it's fun to practice). I seem to get myself through winter knowing the FACT that after winter comes spring, you know, like it does every year....except this year! Quite frankly I think we have skipped from winter right to fall...I am surprised the kids haven't asked that at school yet:) The girls don't seem to mind the fact that everything is about a month behind and that the sun is never out! They just like being outside riding their bikes and playing in the playhouse! I didn't mind that fact that I had no light today when we were making bubbles. The girls were having so much fun! My mom was visiting and we chased bubbles around the yard like fools...
Today I want to remember...
Anesa had finding a stash of gum and managed to shove about 5 pieces in before she came outside...see picture where she looks like she is chewing cud!
Rowyn getting more soap her than actually ever went to making bubbles!
Anesa insisting on wearing jean shorts (never thought see would ever wear jeans)!
Rowyn so proud of herself when bubbles came out of her wand!
The girls screaming as they were chasing the bubbles before they popped!
The girls loving their Nana!
What a great day!

Crazy Days of Summer...Flowers
So unfortunately for you I am obsessed with purple again this season! So most of the flower pictures that I took were purple...lets call it amethyst, which just sounds a lot fancier! Lucky you! Here are a few of the same pics I snapped of a flower that I {heart}. I totally have my eye on some lilacs that are a really wicked shade of amethyst ! Next time the sun pops out hope I am going to be all over trying to get a picture of them (hopefully without 2 little girls in tow trying to pull all of the lilacs off the bust...oh fun times trying to get snap pics with kids)!
Here are some different edits of the same shot!
***really love how my friend Jana always shares with everyone what she did for editing...since she is so generous I thought I would follow suit***

Good Friends!
So lucky to have such good friends...made my rounds this week visiting everyone while Ryan was gone on his Outdoor Ed. trip! The sun was out on evening and the girls were able to jump of the trampoline, swing, zip down the slide, almost tip the swing set on the teeter and enjoy the backyard!
Thanks Michelle and Tadd!
We had so much fun!

Ro's Outfit!
Here is what Ro sported one day last week!
PS~We have not been watching any music videos where she would have picked up the "move" in the second picture! That is all on her own...she is probably wondering why her tights feel like they are at her knees! She picked this out and totally got dressed on her own...I have to say I was quite proud ;)

SUNSHINE!!
It was really our first nice day in a long time!!!! I was so happy to be able to spend sometime outside with the girls! We went to the park and enjoyed the seasonal weather(something that has been forgein to us this spring/summer)! And the sunshine doesn't appear to be forcasted again any time in the near future (insert pouting here)!
During these raining, hailing, cold, cloudy and depressing weeks of early summer (insert crying here) I am trying to get some of the projects I have let go over the school year complete or lets face it started! Unfortunuately, I am struggling finding time to do this and I am getting discourged as I feel that my pictures really just sit on my computer... I take more and more pictures and there they sit! SUMMER GOAL #1 (I will probably have a few knowing me...here is to hoping I can get one finished) I am going to have these things finished by the time we start back to school in August (I know this is a pretty big commintent considering we aren't even done school yet ;)).
1. 2010 collage
2. 2010 Photobook
3. Project 52
4. Pictures ordered
5. Bedding
6. Headboard
7. 2011 photobooks for each girl complete up until August
8. One Little Word
9. Trip to Missouri photobook
What are your "catch up" goals for the summer?
This is a really long list for a procrastinator like myself but I may as well stop taking pictures if I don't start finishing some of the things that I start!
Anyway, enough with my ranting about what a slacker I am!
Here a my girls...
Lovin' the swings!
Lovin' the sunshine!
Lovin the squeals!
Lovin' the thought of summer holidays knocking on our door!
Lovin' this park!

Hello June!
A friend has introduced me to the 30 day challenge in June! Since I have not been very inspired to take pictures I jumped at the chance to join in and have some fun! June 1 was the dreaded self portrait! I actually cheated and had Anesa take my picture!!! Pretty much like having a piece of myself take the picture?!?
Didn't she do great!
